Sherman Shadowcats | Veterans Field | Sherman, Texas

The ticket holder, on their own behalf and on behalf of any accompanying minor(s) (collectively, the “Holder”), is admitted to Veterans Field, home of the Sherman Shadowcats, under the following terms and conditions. By using this ticket or entering the facility, Holder agrees to comply fully with these Terms and Conditions.

1. Media, Recording & Intellectual Property Rights

• Holder agrees not to record, stream, transmit, or distribute any part of the game or event, including photos, videos, play-by-play data, or live broadcasts, without prior written approval from Sherman Sports & Entertainment LLC and the Sherman Shadowcats Baseball Club (collectively, “SHADOWCATS”).
   
• The SHADOWCATS own all copyrights, media rights, and intellectual property associated with the event, including game footage, promotions, player likenesses, and brand assets.
   
• By attending, Holder grants the SHADOWCATS and their affiliates the right to use Holder’s image, voice, likeness, and/or name in any photograph, video, broadcast, or promotional content taken at Veterans Field or surrounding areas (including parking lots), in any media now known or later developed, without compensation.
   

2. Nature of Ticket & Right to Remove or Refuse Entry

• This ticket is a revocable license, and entry may be refused or revoked at the discretion of the SHADOWCATS at any time, with or without refund.
   
• Entry may be denied or revoked if Holder:
   
  • Violates stadium policies or these Terms and Conditions
     
  • Appears intoxicated or behaves in an unsafe, disruptive, or abusive manner
     
  • Uses vulgar, discriminatory, or threatening language
     
• Holder consents to security screening, including bag checks, metal detection, and other safety procedures. SHADOWCATS and related entities assume no liability for injury or property loss resulting from such screenings. 

3. Assumption of Risk – Baseball & Event-Related Injuries

WARNING: STAY ALERT AT ALL TIMES.

By attending a baseball game or event, Holder acknowledges and assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the sport, including but not limited to:

• Thrown or batted balls
   
• Broken bats or equipment
   
• Contact with players or objects
   
• Noise, lights, pyrotechnics, and special effects
   
• Weather-related hazards or natural conditions
   

Holder releases the SHADOWCATS, City of Sherman, Sherman Sports & Entertainment LLC, sponsors, staff, players, volunteers, and affiliates (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any injury, death, or property damage related to attendance at the event.

4. COVID-19 & Communicable Disease Waiver

By entering Veterans Field, Holder acknowledges:

• Risk of exposure to COVID-19 or other communicable diseases exists in any public environment.
   
• Holder voluntarily assumes all risks related to such exposure.
   
• Holder agrees not to attend if they are experiencing symptoms, have tested positive, or are under required isolation/quarantine.
   
• Holder waives all claims against Released Parties for illness, injury, or death resulting from exposure.
   

5. Release of Liability & Covenant Not to Sue

Holder, on behalf of themselves and any accompanying minors, waives, releases, and agrees not to sue the Released Parties for any claims arising out of:

• Attendance at Veterans Field
   
• Use of this ticket
   
• Participation in or observation of the event
   
• Negligence (ordinary, sole, joint, or comparative), premises liability, or inherent risks of the event
   

This waiver is intended to be as broad and enforceable as permitted by Texas law.

6. Tickets, Refunds & Resale Policy

• Tickets may not be resold above face value or in violation of state or local law.
   
• If a game is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.
   
• If a game is canceled and not rescheduled, the SHADOWCATS may offer an exchange for another game of equal value (at their discretion).
   
• No refunds for lost, stolen, duplicated, or counterfeit tickets.
   
• First scanned ticket grants entry—any duplicate thereafter is void.
   

7. Stadium Rules – Veterans Field

Prohibited items and actions include:

• Outside alcohol, glass bottles, or cans
   
• Weapons, fireworks, or hazardous items
   
• Smoking or vaping except in designated areas
   
• Unauthorized drones, banners, large signs, or commercial promotions
   
• Pets (except trained service animals)
   

8. Policy Changes

The SHADOWCATS reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated policies may be posted on the official website or displayed at Veterans Field. It is the Holder’s responsibility to stay informed.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By using this ticket or entering Veterans Field, Holder acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to all rules, waivers, and terms listed above.
